All agencies sites are tagged with the NIC Wisconsin Google Analytics code. With the use of Google Analytics and Tag Manager, NIC Wisconsin is able to track site traffic and send a monthly report to all agencies that use the SharePoint template for their site. This report is a one page overview sent to the agency contacts the first full week of the month for the previous months' usage.
Universal Analytics Sunset
Previously, template sites were set up with the Universal Analytics code. Google is sunsetting Universal Analytics on July 1, 2023. All SharePoint template sites have Google Analytics 4 already in place. The sunset of Universal Analytics will not have any impact on state template sites.
